See what happened where you stand.

Chronos Snap turns places into illustrated journeys through time. Use your current location or search for any place, and the app researches real historical events connected to that spot — then presents them as a visual timeline with descriptive context, period-inspired images, and a collectible medallion saved to your personal map.

EXPLORE HISTORY AROUND YOU
Start with your current location or enter any place manually — cities, streets, landmarks, historical sites, neighborhoods, places you visit while travelling. Location access is optional: simply type a place such as "Colosseum, Rome" and begin from there.

WATCH HISTORY COME ALIVE
Each journey is built around real historical research connected to the selected place. A typical timeline includes several events spanning different periods of history, each with a year, title, historical category, descriptive context, and AI-generated period-style artwork.

COLLECT GOLDEN MEDALLIONS
Every completed journey automatically becomes a collectible medallion with the place name, city and country, historical year range, number of discovered events, and representative artwork. Your medallions are stored privately in your account.

BUILD YOUR PERSONAL HISTORY MAP
Saved medallions appear as golden pins on your interactive 3D map. As your collection grows, your map becomes a visual record of the places you have explored through history. Tap any pin to reopen its complete timeline, pan and zoom the globe, or expand the map full-screen.

YOUR DAILY JOURNEY
Chronos Snap is free to use. Each account receives 1 free historical journey per UTC day, and the allowance resets at midnight UTC. If a generation fails, your daily journey is automatically refunded. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no advertisements.

GENERATION CONTINUES EVEN IF YOU LEAVE
Historical research and image generation happen on the server. If you leave the progress screen while a journey is being generated, the process continues — your completed result will be waiting when you return.

YOUR ACCOUNT
Sign in with email and password or Google Sign-In. Email accounts verify their address before entering the app. Password reset and full account deletion are available in the app.

PRIVACY
Location is used only when you choose a place to explore — never in the background. Chronos Snap contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no cross-app tracking.

AI-GENERATED HISTORICAL CONTENT
Historical events and descriptions are generated with AI assistance using historical research sources, and may contain inaccuracies or omissions. Chronos Snap is an exploration and discovery tool rather than an authoritative academic reference.
