Redact PDFs and images directly on your Android device with PDF Blackout. Mark sensitive text, search documents with on-device OCR, organize pages, and export a reviewed copy without uploading your files.

PDF Blackout is designed for focused, local document editing. Open a PDF or image, activate redaction mode, and draw solid cover areas over information you do not want to share. Existing redactions can be moved, resized, recolored, duplicated, copied to other pages, or removed.

Privacy by design:
The app does not request internet access. OCR uses a bundled recognition model and runs on the device. Files remain under your control in the storage location you choose.
