If you are a DStv customer in a country within our DStv territories, the DStv app enables you to stream live TV, catch up on your favourite series, movies and sport highlights or download to watch later offline, all on the go.

The Live TV and Catch Up content in the DStv app will be as per your DStv subscription package and country where your subscription is held. Due to geo-blocking this content can only be played within the countries in the DStv territories.

As a DStv customer you can enjoy all of these features on the DStv app.
- Live stream selected TV channels via 3G/4G or WIFI
- Catch Up on a selection of the most popular shows, sport, and movies
- Download up to 25 videos on Catch Up to enjoy offline later across 4 devices
- With DStv Kids use a safe and fun viewing environment with PIN controlled access to enjoy the coolest shows and movies
- Access the full 8-day TV Guide and set reminders to plan your viewing

For legal reasons, the DStv app is not available on uncertified Google devices. Please ensure that you are using a Google-certified device by going to Google Play Store Menu -> Settings -> Device Certification.

Ratings and reviews

Connects well enough for me which is great. However, this app consumes a great volume of data than I reckon is necessary while streaming. Doesn't matter what resolution you're watching in. I use a lot of streaming apps in comparison & this one, by far, uses up a lot of data. It's almost ridiculous. The devs may want to look into this. Otherwise, it's a decent app.

It's a great app. I can buy streaming data's and watch my paid bouquet. The problem is my internal storage gets low and I can't download my catch up movies. If you can add an option for save to SD card like YouTube it would be a great help. And I would rate this app with 5 stars. Thanks for reading. I hope you add the feature I've been asking for.

The app used to work amazingly well but until the past few weeks I can't watch anything using the app no matter what time of the day and the strength of the Internet connection. I have 3 routers from 3 different data service providers and yet I can't watch anything because it's just a blank screen I will be looking at. My app is up to date, I have cleared the cache and my dstv subscription is very much active. Please fix the problem.
