I've learned a lot in the last month, but the lessons seem too repetitive. I know repetition helps you learn/remember, but it seems *too* repetitive, and there's not enough variety in the vocabulary. (I've only seen like 3-4 adjectives, like "verde," when they could have us learn and practic other colors, etc.) I'm glad I can test out of levels/skip to the next one so I'm not stuck doing the same lessons. Also, the levels have different categories but don't change the lessons much/repeat again

It's good for learning foreign tongues in a pinch, and you can probably become fluent if you complete an entire course on Duo, but it's really kind of more like a "fast food" kind of way to learn languages imo. Quick, easy, and engaging, but certainly not all-encompassing on its own. Would recommend, but would also suggest using in conjunction with other resources if you're trying to really become a professional-level speaker of whatever it is you're learning.

I absolutely love this. I'm learning Korean and not only does it show you the symbols and all the alphabetical letters, but it also guides you. When you get things wrong you can go over it. There's progress checks (those are a little hard but they're just guiding you) and overall it's awesome. You can write down the symbols on paper (or just memorize it) and it takes you down the right path. Obviously some starter phrases like "cucumber milk" may seem funny, but you may learn to use them!
