I like using it. I found I could revisit lessons, and it helps. I see the improvement already. It has changed to prevent people from farming the easy lessons for points, and I prefer that. Sometimes the characters animate, and I love that, but i don't know why it stops. I love how you eventually get grouped with people learning at your speed, so you almost always feel like you have a chance to compete on the leaderboards. Its a fun app, and i recommend it.

As a linguist, I love using Duolingo to keep my skills sharp and pick up some new vocab. However, it sometimes doesn't do a good job of explaining things and the comments are often filled with questions without answers. I also think there could be slight improvements in some translations, especially differentiating between "you" singular and "you" plural. Overall, though, very happy! I've been using it for more than 10 years!

I really love Duolingo, I've tried other apps like babble and nothing compares to the experience I get from Duolingo. I wish they would make it easier for Children, and it does appear they are taking steps toward that but aren't quite there. I also disliked how the mistakes you could practice would start with your most recent mistake and go back from there, but it seems they are now shuffling them a little bit which is a lot more helpful. I've definitely seen improvement on a lot of things :)
