The Duolingo English Test (DET) mobile app provides a stable, secure test setup experience. It does not replace the desktop app for taking the test itself.

Test takers will use the app to:

• Submit their ID information
• Scan their face and ID
• Complete their room scan and ear scan
• Set up their phone to record their computer

Terrible!! this trash doesn't work at all. I've got 3 cancelled test for any apparent reason! it doesn't identify your ear, your keyboard, your screen.. terrible, if I could, i would give negative review. Just lost a bunch of money. hate it. DONT USE THIS, do ANY other English test other than this.

I had a great experience with the Duolingo English Test. The test was convenient because I could take it from home, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I've been using the Duolingo English Test app for the past 2 years while applying to universities abroad, and it's been such a lovely experience. The app is easy to use, reliable, and the test process is straightforward (especially appreciate the quick results and user-friendly interface, the app provides lots of tasks and tests for people trying to learn not one or two, but a multitude of languages).Great option for international students preparing for university admissions. Highly recommended!
