You keep "updating courses" & "synching my progress," yet I'm coming across words I've never been taught, while simultaneously covering "new lessons" I covered over a year ago. Please stop trying to fix an app that wasn't broken. At this point, you're just making things significantly worse. The learning path you introduced a while back is terrible, because you learn the same concept all at once, instead of being able to do some of this, and of that and then go back and review. It's bad design.

It's great that this app is free and there are many strategies that they use to help you practice a lot. There are some mistakes in some of the answers to less popular languages, but it still a good tool to get the basics. It's annoying that they keep making changes without any notification. For example, they have just changed it that if you already have 15 minutes of double XP, meeting a challenge may reset that time instead of awarding gems.

All in all, it's a fun way to learn. Kinda annoyed that I got to the massive wall of learning the characters of Japanese and don't have more words to learn at the moment(without just skipping the characters). Wish it was more mixed in. Also, it feels like a bug that things like the xp boosts don't actually work for lessons with the characters.
