The new language path interface is terrible. It's like the difference between having a smartphone and having one of those alarm buttons they give old people. I liked having control over which lessons I wanted to focus on. I use duo lingo in tandem with an actual lessons as well as practicing with native speakers, so I have some idea of where my weaknesses are, and I liked being able to easily practice them. If they don't offer some way to disable this new interface I'm cancelling premium.

Horrible new design. The new "path" based interface is garbage. They have turned a dynamic and unique learning platform into a monotonous paint by numbers board game that completely takes the fun out of language acquisition. I was learning so much and doing so well. I'm heartbroken. Please allow the option to revert to the old interface.

They had a good tree based interface with a nice way to follow a non linear path. They messed it up with a single path redesign which forces everyone to follow along on a long winding path which never seems to end. Spanish for example has 211 units with each unit having dozens of lessons. It is highly discouraging and demotivating for new and old learners. Duolingo - don't mess with a good interface that got you to this position. Please bring it back!!!
