eScan CERT-In Bot Removal lets you scan your device for bots, malware, infected objects and helps you remove them.

What is a bot?
A mobile bot is a malware that runs actively on a device not protected by an anti-virus app. Mobile bots act similarly to computer bots. If infected, your device gets added to a botnet and gets used for all malicious activities possible by the hacker/botnet owner. The malware allows a hacker access to all the data, apps, and internet usage.

How does a device get infected?
An unprotected device can get infected by Trojan, malware, and worm that are embedded with –

escan is showing Kaspersky as a High risk threat and is asking me to uninstall it. Cert-in website lists Kaspersky as trustable. escan webpage claims it won't conflict with already installed antivirus apps. Google gemini says to uninstall escan and only use Kaspersky. Please tell me why a reputed antivirus software is marked as a threat.

I've been using it for a long time. But from a few days it started opening in the playstore and does not serve its purpose. .......

when I start scan from this app always play protect opens to scan app but it does not perform any virus scan
