A very basic scanner that scans for malicious apps. The free version does not scan other files. Some people claim this program scans quickly, but that does not seem to be the case. Maybe they are comparing it to a scanner for a PC, which scans thousands, tens of thousands, or more? Obviously, that would take a lot longer than scanning a few apps. It actually scans slower than a PC - Took about 2 minutes to scan a about 130 apps on my phone. A PC can scan thousands or more in that same time.

If you have an Android phone you need this app. It's the best protection for free. One caveat: I used Bitdefenders paid security package last year. I found all the loops I had to jump through to make it work extremely difficult. I'm not a tech savvy guy. Bitdefender👉I love your product and would gladly purchase your enhanced security program IF you'd just make it easier to use.

Super fast virus scanner, but the tradeoff is that it requires an online connection to scan your device. I like the fact that the free version will automatically check both newly installed apps and existing updates. If you're looking for a lite scanner that's not bloated with a lot of junk like app killers, battery savers, etc., you may want to consider this one. Bitdefender has had high ratings and a good reputation for as long as I can remember.
