About this app

AbleEdge Installer allows installers to commission and configure Eaton’s AbleEdge Smart Breakers quickly and easily. Whether you are installing for your own integration or for one of our strategic partner integrations, the AbleEdge Installer app can be used to connect smart breakers to a Wi-Fi network so that they can communicate through Eaton’s AbleEdge API platform and any organization that has integrated with the APIs.

Within the AbleEdge Installer app, you can do the following:
• Commission smart breakers to a network following our step-by-step instructions
• Modify advanced configurations for your smart breaker
• Create and manage sites to keep your installations organized
• Join an organization with an invitation code if you are a verified installer for one of Eaton’s partner organizations

NOTE: This app is for qualified installers only. Are you a homeowner just trying to connect your devices to our consumer app? Do NOT use this app, but instead download Brightlayer Home, where you can commission devices directly for consumer use. This update includes various bug fixes and improvements including the following:

• Added requirement to verify that user is a qualified installer at registration
• Added an improvement to be able to change a saved password while commissioning device
