About this app
The e-substances app supports you in avoiding allergies from e-substances and better risk assessment of various e-substances in our food, such as:
- dyes
- preservatives
- antioxidants
- humectant
- thickener
- flavor enhancer
- sweeteners
as well as many other additives. It also shows which e-substances are unsuitable for children, vegans or frequent consumption and specifies the risks such as cancer risk or genetic engineering as well as animal, vegetable or artificial ingredients.
For this purpose, the EStoffe app contains over 330 E numbers and 725 names of E-substances with the corresponding risk assessments.
In particular, you can immediately see whether this e-substance is suitable for vegans, whether there is a genetic engineering risk or whether it contains animal, vegetable, mineral or artificial components.
This app also works without an internet connection - so even on vacation if you want to save on roaming fees. However, if you have an Internet connection, you can branch directly to the corresponding hits on the Internet - without having to type in cryptic chemical names - and thus very easily get more information about the respective e-substance!
