QRSentry is a free QR code scanner and QR reader that checks every link for danger the moment you scan. Phishing, malware, fake bank pages and scam links are flagged before you tap — so you can pay, log in and browse with confidence.

QR code scams ("quishing") are everywhere: fake stickers on parking meters and menus, phishing QR codes in emails, and shortened links that hide their real destination. A normal QR scanner opens them blindly. QRSentry checks first.

■ Real-time safety rating
Every URL gets a clear verdict: SAFE, SUSPICIOUS or DANGEROUS — with the reasons listed so you know exactly why. Dangerous links need a second confirmation before they can open.

■ Powered by Google Safe Browsing + global threat feeds
Links are checked against Google Safe Browsing, PhishTank and URLhaus, updated daily. Known phishing and malware URLs are blocked instantly.

■ Look-alike brand detection
Spots fake domains that imitate banks, payment apps, delivery companies, Google, Apple, PayPal, Amazon, Kakao, Naver, Toss and 50+ other brands — including typo tricks like "paypa1" and "g00gle".

■ Short link unwrapping
bit.ly, t.co, tinyurl and other shorteners are followed to their final destination, and the real site is what gets checked and shown.

■ Safe Preview sandbox
Peek at a page in an isolated viewer with JavaScript off, downloads blocked and nothing saved — before you decide to open it for real.

■ Works offline too
On-device analysis gives you a verdict even without a connection; the full server check runs whenever you are online.

■ Safety Check for second-hand trades
Paste a seller's link, phone number or account number before you send money and get a scam-risk score from community reports.

■ Every QR type, the right action
URL, Wi-Fi (connect in one tap), contact cards (vCard), email, SMS, phone, location, calendar events, OTP, crypto addresses, deep links and plain text — 14 types auto-detected. Product barcodes show name, brand and image.
