the best Use it everyday. To the previous reviewer who thinks the audio is too fast - it's still way slower than Chinese people actually talk! If you get used to hearing things too slow you won't recognize it when it's coming at you full tilt in a conversation.
This is what you're looking for So easy to use, tone highlights, stroke, English, and pinyin input. Really easy to browse through similar vocab. I haven't found anything better. Since they've added the stroke animations in both simplified AND traditional, it's perfect. No more bouncing between apps!
Can't do without it! my constant companion while learning Mandarin.
The perfect tool After the last July's update it became perfect
Sfs I have been using this for a year now. It really is the best dictionary for Chinese learners. It is particularly good for finding idiomatic words and expressions. Its a shame it doesn't have a flashcard function. Update : I have been using the latest version, which syncronises wIth Android, Now I can easily review all the words I have starred. Fantastic
I have purchased the pro license for this app ever since I was introduced to it by my friend since 2014. It is a great app to learn mandarin and since then I have even purchased the add-ons such as the additional dictionaries, the pronunciation guides and even the hanping pro cantonese app. The only grouse that i have now is the animated text feature does not work on for both app (Hanping Chinese and Hanping Cantonese) on both of my current phones (Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Huawei P7). Oddly enough this feature is working fine in my wife's phone (Samsung Galaxy S4). Have anyone else have this problem?
