Initially I had a problem with the sign on page that immediately appears when starting the app. The only language on the opening page was chinese. However after working with the support team we fixed the problem by clearing the app data and cache. So far I've used the free version and found to be very useful but the paid version appears to have great depth of features and value so I'll definitely be upgrading shortly. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prompt response by the support team.

What can I say, I like the app! Even got the subscription, and the AI chat feature was decent in that it somehow handled all my dumb questions about grammar. Because I am busy with other studies and with current budget constraints, I unfortunately had to cancel the subscription and ask for a refund. Customer service was very understanding and helped process a refund quickly. Overall recommend the app, and I hope to get back to studying Chinese soon!

The learning courses are well made and so far great for my memory and pronunciation. The newcomer price I got for the PLUS access was also good. However... the app constantly tries to push for it's AI teacher add-on; CHAO. You finish a course and it goes to it next automatically. A reward for doing well is free "CHAO" days. Just now it said my free days were running out and the option not to upgrade says something like "Use ineffective method'' insulting both the user and their own app...?
