Sadly, I have to agree with other reviews. You have to pair your mug to your phone Bluetooth every time you need to use it. Luckily, mine has been a pretty fast connection thus far, but for a $100+ mug that really shouldn't be a problem. If a constant connection is impossible, it would be much easier to enable an NFC connection to your phone, so when you need to use it, you could tap your phone to the bottom of the mug. I have a bt speaker that does this, it's very fast and easy.

works great.... when it works! 😭 even on my newer phone it still struggles to connect, and I have to constantly restart the phone and cup to get it to connect. after 10 minutes it still hasn't connected. when it DOES work, it's really nice having a warm mug all morning! otherwise, I just hope an update helps this. it's a really nice idea but executed.... not that well on the connection/tech side.

FIX YOUR BROKEN APP. Everything worked fine when I first purchased my ember, and the app allowed temperature control. For the past year+ the app has a glitch where it will only allow the temperature to be set to 135. If you change it, the app bugs out and goes back to 135. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 10+ times and nothing works. Extremely frustrating.
