It gives you 5 free scans then you have to pay. They only have new cards. I tried to scan and search 1987 fleer and it couldn't even find it. It also didn't know the prices to any older cards that I looked up that were baseball. So as a baseball man .. I did not really enjoy the app. But it definitely has upside potential with it's idea. It just needs to ask people to help them build there base inventory intelligence.

Hi Phillip - Thanks for taking the time to review Waxstat. We put a 5 scan limit until you register & then you have unlimited scans for FREE! No need to pay. We've stayed away from comp'ing junk wax products & older boxes. Many of our heavy users are the local shop owners & are focused on newer products - but we'll add comps for older boxes asap.

If you're on the hobby, you need this regardless, if you're barely getting started or if you're a seasoned collector this app just makes your life a lot easier. Simple and straightforward, definitely recommend this app download it now!

New app, limited reporting, good idea. It has almost nothing pre 2000. And minimal prices prior to 2015. Works well if you are looking for anything in the last 5 years. Limited sources at this point. But a valiant start.
