USED TO BE GOOD. The new Emsisoft cares more about Microsoft than it does about my computer safety and freedom. I was afraid this would happen when they partnered with Windows Defender. Recently the W 10 update caused a certain safe program that I have used for years to fail. I couldn't get it to work. I found out that Windows is now blocking it, calling it a Potentially Unwanted Program. When I contacted Emsisoft about this they said they "CAN'T" help me because it's Windows doing it!

The app is overall very good. I was able to open locked apps without entering the Passcode by swiping thru apps open on my Android 14 and then when I came back to the locked app, it opened without entering a pin. Trusted WiFi is disabled and app is locked on exit. Has anyone else found this to be the case ?

An exceptional piece of software. We use their Business Security on our own in-house systems and for our Managed Services clients. Detects threats that a lot of the competition "bigger" brands simply miss. The behavioural scanner is especially effective in blocking threats that try to sneak in via your temporary folders or the browser. 10/10 - would recommend it to everyone.
