Derash Equb is a simple personal app that helps you organize and manage traditional equb savings groups.
An Equb is a traditional rotating savings and credit association (ROSCA) widely practiced in Ethiopia. It’s a community-based financial system where a group of people agree to contribute a fixed amount of money regularly (weekly, monthly, etc.). Each round, one member receives the total pooled amount, and this continues until everyone in the group has received the lump sum once.
