About this app

CounterClock shows how long your customers spend at the counter, using a compatible camera you already have pointed at it. It is built for cafes, barbershops, delis, bakeries and pharmacies: any business where people are served at a counter.

CounterClock counts the people in your camera's still images automatically. It does not recognize faces or identify anyone, never matches a person from one image to the next, and never produces a figure about an individual employee. The results are anonymous counts and timings.

NOW
• At the counter: how long the current customer has been served, with an On pace, Slowing down or Over goal light measured against your own goal
• Today: customers served, customers per hour, median service time and the slowest 1 in 20 (p95)

METRICS
• Median and p95 service time for the day, built only from visits whose duration was actually measured
• Results by daypart, and the peak windows of the day
• Windows that could not be verified are listed as Not verified. A gap is shown as a gap, never as a zero

QUEUE (with a second camera on the waiting area)
• People waiting in line and the estimated wait
• Walk-aways: an estimate of how many people left the line without being served, as an anonymous total
• With one camera, the Queue screen says so plainly instead of showing zeros

TREND
• Median service time per day, with your fastest and slowest days
• A day with nothing measured is drawn as an empty day, not as a fast one

LOCATIONS AND TEAM
• Switch between your locations; with comparison turned on, they are ranked by median service time
• See who has access to your account and what a manager can do

Goals, opening hours and cameras are set up in the CounterClock web dashboard. The app shows the same numbers as the dashboard, from the same account, and refreshes on its own while it is open.

SIGN-IN
No passwords. Enter the email on your CounterClock account and type the 6-digit code we email you. The account is created when CounterClock is added to your camera account; there is no sign-up in the app.

Works with Ring: requires a wired Ring camera with a steady view of your counter.

PRIVACY
CounterClock is an operations tool, not a security product. Camera snapshots are deleted within a week; what remains is anonymous counts and timings. Full policy: counterclock.erbacciltd.com/privacy
