Favorites allow you to easily save and open frequently visited URLs. Once files are downloaded, you can use the app's file manager to open them, install them if they are APK applications, or delete them.

I absolutely love the Downloader by AFTVnews Android TV app! It's incredibly easy to use and I can download just about anything that my imagination desires. Plus, it works on so many different platforms—Android TV, Fire TV, Google TV and TiVo Stream 4K!—so no matter what device, you have access to this amazing tool. Finally, it saves your recent history of downloads and visited sites, which makes accessing them super quick and simple. I couldn't ask for a better experience with this awesome app!

As of 9/9/2026 I've banned 🚫 and removed the use of the "Downloader app" on my Amazon Fire sticks permanently due to several reasons, the Downloader app is crashy, slow, buggy, error popups, attracts Malwares/viruses/& Trojans, doesn't work very well any more in the Developer Options in Settings and it's the end of an era of installing unknown streaming apps. 1 star ⭐ for "poor" and 2 thumbs 👎👎

not sure why (not blaming the app itself) but for some strange reasons, searching for it when using an Onn GoogleTV streaming stick rarely shows up as an available app. I have to use a full browser, search the Play store and push to my device from there.
