It's so simple and straightforward to use and I've never had an issue with it. I hate it when trying to fix or figure out an application delays my workouts so I stopped looking for a tabata app after I landed on this one. The chimes are loud for final seconds of the count down and the end of the set so I can hear it over my music or show.

You can try turning on an option that will make it even more convenient to use this timer with music. Please go to Settings, Sound settings, and enable Lower music volume (ducking). This should reduce the volume of music in your music player while playing the timer sounds and voice prompts. Thank you very much for your review and for using my app!

Extremely simple to use and highly customizable. It has a straightforward, no-frills interface that lets you create timers for however many routines you have. Work and rest times can be set as a batch or customized to the individual step, and each timer can also be customized with different sounds and images letting you tweak it for anything from a sweat-bursting HIIT workout to a focused deep-breathing session. Highly recommended.

This is the best app I have found for simple, customizable circuit workouts. The display is legible and simple too. It has also filled an important role on pre-hospital medical emergency scenes of several cardiac arrests while using a pit crew technique (rotating chest compressions and the built-in metronome for pacing). The time can also be programmed to display overall time spent on a scene while doing CPR, good information to pass ahead to the emergency room. It's played a part in "saves."

What's new

💪 Fix for the Pause on call feature for devices with Android 12+. It now requires READ_PHONE_STATE permission.
💪 Added instructions for disabling background restrictions. This is necessary so that the timer works reliably in the background when you lock the screen or open another app on top.
