About this app

Engineering Tools is an offline calculator suite for field engineers, technicians, contractors, estimators, tradespeople, and students who need focused engineering math without waiting on a network.

The catalog includes 105 calculators, estimators, converters, and field references across 11 disciplines: electrical, mechanical, civil, fluid and thermal, materials, engineering conversions, structural, plumbing, safety and compliance, surveying and GIS, and energy and renewables. Search the full list, browse by discipline, pin favorites, and jump back into recently used tools when a job is already underway.

Electrical tools cover practical checks such as voltage drop, conduit fill, box fill, residential service load, panel load, wire resistance, and lighting lumens. Mechanical and materials tools support gear ratios, shaft sizing, pulley speed, spring rate, board feet, kerf, carpenter fractions, firewood and timber volume, compound miters, wood movement, and CMU grout volume. Civil, structural, plumbing, safety, surveying, and conversion tools round out everyday estimating and reference work, from stair stringers and cut/fill volumes to slope and grade, fall clearance, and unit conversions.

Every calculation runs on the device. Engineering Tools requests no internet permission and includes no account, advertising, analytics, or in-app purchases. Saved calculations stay local. Export or import a JSON backup when you want to move saved work between devices you control, and use copy, share, PDF export, JSON export, or Android printing when your hardware supports those actions.

The same app is built for Android phones, tablets, Android TV, Fire tablets, and Fire TV. Layouts adapt between compact single-pane and wider two-pane browsing. Navigation supports touch, keyboard, and D-pad focus so numeric controls remain reachable with a remote. Choose light, dark, or system theme, set imperial or metric preferences where a tool exposes them, and work in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, or Simplified Chinese.

A four-step onboarding introduces the offline catalog, language selection, remote-friendly controls, and privacy posture. After that, the Home, Browse, Saved, and Settings tabs keep the workflow short: find the tool, enter the values you have, review the results, and keep only what you need.

Engineering Tools is a preliminary engineering aid. Always verify results against current codes, manufacturer data, and a licensed professional before design or field use. The app does not replace stamped engineering judgment, manufacturer software, or official code books, and it does not claim code certification or guaranteed field accuracy.

If you want a practical offline engineering calculator app for phone, tablet, and TV—without cloud setup, accounts, or ads—Engineering Tools keeps the core toolkit ready on the device you already carry or mount.
