Ratings and reviews

I really like content. Love the books and video snippets. Basically Duolingo on steroids, without the owl. Never liked the 'competition' aspect. It's bad enough having 'streaks.' I would much prefer just moving through the content. Also, the necessity of yet another "subscription". I would much rather buy a set of content and purchase additional as necessary. Then it's mine to go back and re-use, or add to, just like any library. Affordability is a 'thing.'

surprisingly a very good language learning app, at least in the beginning stages of Spanish. Every lesson does well with review and it's helpful that they use clips from shows that most people know, but with the Spanish dub. This helps not get an AI voice or text to speech reading at you, and instead you can hear how the language is actually supposed to sound. I did subscribe to get the most out of my lessons though, I'm unsure what the free version offers in comparison.

The program is very basic, you can pronounce it badly and still say that it's okay during the lessons. The translation is not accurate most of the time. There are not courses that offer better training regarding English language learning. I'm being charged for a renewal when the program has been stuck in the same lesson for at least 2 months and they don't want to reimburse my money. Go cancel the auto renewal as soon as possible because they take advantage of you not reading the agreement.
