Ratings and reviews

I paid for a single month and now it's charging recurring monthly and it's been so far impossible to cancel. I've had several back and forth communications with "support" which I think they've named ironically for comedic effect. I caution you against using this app. I was planning on pausing but am not going to cancel - or at the very least try to cancel.

Very difficult to cancel. I'm on week two of trying to cancel and have been emailing their customer service in Singapore. All I get is the run around. Rather than helping, they keep pushing it back on me. Terrible app. Terrible customer service. I think their English comprehension is really poor as they respond with something that has absolutely nothing to do with what I wrote.

I really like content. Love the books and video snippets. Basically Duolingo on steroids, without the owl. Never liked the 'competition' aspect. It's bad enough having 'streaks.' I would much prefer just moving through the content. Also, the necessity of yet another "subscription". I would much rather buy a set of content and purchase additional as necessary. Then it's mine to go back and re-use, or add to, just like any library. Affordability is a 'thing.' *Update. They offered a sale.
