About this app

GPS Data app - you can check any necessary GPS data. If you like sports, mountaineering, journey, running you can use it to check your results or external parameters like speed, altitude, location, etc.

Using this app you get:
- altitude and elevation (measures of the height of a point relative to some datum - Height above sea level)
- the location (latitude and longitude - GPS coordinates, lat and long)
- speed km/h or mph
- the quality of the GPS signal
- list of GPS satellites (the number of satellites, and PRN are the "pseudo random noise")
- direction - compass (determining the geographical position)

In this app you get the access to the necessary mobile data, you don't need navigation, GPS tracker or GPS Watch.
With this app you can check sunrise and sunset time of the day, local UTC time, position on the world map and many others data.

I like it. But it falls short by not being able to record location (Lat/Lon) directly to a text file either on a manual basis or automatic basis. You have to copy location to the clip board and then paste it into some other text based app. Perhaps I'm missing something? This is one of the few Android apps that you can purchase for a few clams and get rid of adds. The are no humans that purposely click those retarded scam adds found in all Android apps. Pay once or subscribe I say.

UPRATED FROM 3 STARS TO 4 STARS 1/19/2023: There is a lot to like about this app. It's well laid out, easy to read, easy to use. It gets only four stars from me, however, because of one significant flaw. A previous version didn't allow you to change the latitude/longitude format. Now it can be changed, as either degrees-minutes-seconds or as decimal degrees. BUT, it still does not allow formatting as degrees-decimal minutes or as UTM. That's what keeps it from getting 5 stars from me.

full screen ad pretends to be a software update. I was boating and didn't have reading glasses on to see it was an ad. Clicked it and it is malware. Do Not Use this app.
