Ratings and reviews

The app is fine, but I absolutely won't use Expedia again as their support is horrible. As other's have stated, they flat out lie and say they have contacted the hotel and the hotel wouldn't help. Contact the hotel directly and they confirm that they have received no communication from Expedia regarding the booking. Explain this to Expedia, with the hotel contact cc'd, and they just keep sending the same generic email back, "Unfortunately, after multiple tries, we were unable...blah blah blah"

I cancelled some flights within the 24-hour window and received an email stating that "no further action was required." However, they didn't forward the cancellation to Finnair until 12 hours later, resulting in the charge being processed with no option to appeal or get a refund. Poor customer service. They really ought to include time-sensitive or transaction alerts; in the past, you would simply make a reservation, and the payment wouldn't be charged until it was confirmed.

Watch out, the app automatically adds price drop protection to flights and there is no way to remove it. I DID NOT toggle Price Drop Protection on. The price stays correct up until check out and then price drop automatically gets added with no way to remove it. When I booked through laptop the issue did not occur. Because I was able to purchase tickets on laptop without the added automatic fee, support said the issue was resolved. The app is now useless to purchase flights.
