About this app

Unlock your apps with answers.

Quizkey puts a short round of flashcards in front of the apps that eat your day. Right answers earn minutes into your ticket wallet. Spend a ticket to open a locked app, or save the minutes for later. Scroll a little less, learn a lot more: your next exam, class notes, a certification, a language, anything with a question and an answer.

HOW IT WORKS
• Lock the apps you want, all day or on a schedule (or a ready-made one like Deep sleep).
• Open one and Quizkey asks for a short round first, or a ticket from your wallet.
• Answer right and you earn minutes. A clean round earns a bonus.
• Get one wrong and you don't lose. The card comes back and you pay a little more.
• Each lock has its own rules: cards per round, minutes per ticket, a daily cap.
• A short pause first asks what you're here for. Sometimes the answer is "nothing".

FOCUS SESSIONS
• A 25-minute focus session keeps every lock shut, tickets included, with the countdown on your Lock Screen.

SIX WAYS TO ANSWER
• Multiple choice, type it, true or false, fill the gap, match pairs and pictures.

STUDY ANYTHING
• Scan your notes: photograph a page or open a PDF, and Quizkey's AI turns it into a deck in seconds (Pro). A word list becomes cards right on your device, free.
• Create with AI: type a topic or paste your notes and get a deck with answer choices and explanations (Pro). Or copy Quizkey's prompt into any AI chatbot and paste the answer back, free.
• Import CSV, TSV, Q:/A: text, JSON or an Anki export, and check every card before you save.
• Set an exam date and see how many cards a day keep you on track.
• Share a deck as a link or a file.
• Language packs are there too: 120 everyday words with audio in 12 languages.

LEARN FOR REAL
• Spaced repetition (SM-2) brings each card back right before you'd forget it.
• Streaks that forgive one missed day a week, ticket stubs and a weekly report.
• Widgets for your wallet, your streak and a card of the hour you answer on the Home Screen.

FAIR BY DESIGN
• Blocking is free. So are the wallet, 25-minute focus, the emergency pass, the Essentials deck and your first own deck of up to 50 cards.
• An honest emergency pass: hold for 10 seconds, three times a week. Prefer no way out? Turn skip options off.
• No account, no ads. Your cards and stats stay on your device. AI decks are created by a third-party AI provider. We don't store your content.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (AccessibilityService API)
Lets Quizkey see the web address in your browser, for website locks.
• What we read: The web address in your browsers' address bar, and which locked app just opened. Only in your browsers and the apps you locked.
• Why: To put the lock in front of the sites and apps you picked, at once, and nothing else.
• Where it goes: Nowhere. It's matched on this device, never stored and never sent.
• Turn it off any time: remove the sites, or switch Quizkey off in Accessibility settings.
