About this app

Cattle are usually somewhere the signal is not. That is the reason most herd records are written twice — once on paper at the pasture, once again at a desk, and the second time is where the mistakes come from.

Feedsoft Beef is written once, where the cattle are. Record feed, weights, breeding, calving and treatments offline, and average daily gain, weaning rate and cost per head follow.

Built for the pasture, not the office

Everything works offline. Record with no signal at all and it saves to your device immediately — nothing waits on a connection. When you're back in range it syncs, and everyone is looking at the same herd.

What you can record
• Feed fed, by pasture and by day
• Weight samples, by ear tag
• Services and pregnancy checks
• Calvings — born alive, stillborn, sex, dam and whether assistance was needed
• Weaning, with counts and average weaning weight
• Deaths, health observations, treatments with withdrawal periods, vaccinations
• Sales and expenses, per herd

What it tells you
• Average daily gain between weight samples
• Weaning rate — calves weaned per cow exposed
• Conception rate from the cows actually checked
• Calving interval per tagged cow
• Days since turn-in, and what the herd has cost so far
• Cost per head, and profit and loss when the cycle closes

Cow-calf, stocker and backgrounder, feedlot finishing and replacement heifers are separate purposes with their own numbers. Feed cost flows in from your feed deliveries.

Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.

A Feedsoft subscription is required. Full access for 7 days. No credit card required. When the trial ends the app becomes read-only: your records stay on the device and can still be viewed and exported, but recording new entries needs a subscription. Manage plans at feedsoft.com.
