About this app

Sheep and goats rarely earn from one thing. Meat, milk and fibre come off the same flock, in different seasons, and a record built for only one of them loses the other two.

Feedsoft Sheep and Goats carries all three. Record feeding, weights, lambing or kidding, milk and fleece from the paddock, and growth, yield, clip and cost per head follow from what you entered.

Built for the paddock, not the office

Everything works offline. Record with no signal at all and it saves to your device immediately — nothing waits on a connection. When you're back in range it syncs, and everyone is looking at the same flock.

What you can record
• Feed fed, by paddock and by day
• Weight samples, and the average weight they imply
• Milk collected, with butterfat, protein and somatic cell count
• Fleece weight (greasy), head shorn, fibre and fibre diameter
• Joining, scanning, lambing and kidding
• Weaning, deaths, health observations, treatments and vaccinations
• Sales and expenses, per flock

What it tells you
• Average daily gain between weight samples
• Litres per head per day, on a seven-day average
• Feed efficiency — litres of milk per kilogram of feed
• Fleece per head, and average fibre diameter in microns
• Weaning rate — weaned per female joined — and conception from females scanned
• What the flock has cost so far, and cost per head

Meat, dairy and fibre flocks, feeder lambs and kids, and replacement breeding stock are separate purposes with their own numbers. Feed cost flows in from your feed deliveries.

A Feedsoft subscription is required. Full access for 7 days. No credit card required. When the trial ends the app becomes read-only: your records stay on the device and can still be viewed and exported, but recording new entries needs a subscription. Manage plans at feedsoft.com.
