About this app

The milk cheque tells you what the herd produced. It does not tell you what a litre cost to make, and that is the number that decides the year.

Feedsoft Dairy tracks both. Record milk, components, feed, breeding and health, and yield per cow, feed efficiency and cost per litre move with each entry.

Built for the parlour, not the office

Everything works offline. Record in a barn with no signal and it saves to your device immediately — nothing waits on a connection. When you're back in range it syncs, and everyone is looking at the same herd.

What you can record
• Milk collected, with the number milking
• Butterfat, protein and somatic cell count
• Feed fed, by barn and by day
• Services and pregnancy checks, by cow tag
• Calvings — born alive, stillborn, sex, dam and whether assistance was needed
• Health observations, treatments with withdrawal periods, and vaccinations
• Sales and expenses, per herd

What it tells you
• Litres per cow per day, on a seven-day average
• Feed efficiency — litres of milk per kilogram of feed
• Somatic cell count on a thirty-day average, so a rise is visible before it is a problem
• Days in milk, conception rate and calving interval
• What the herd has cost so far, and cost per litre

Milking herd, dry cows, replacement heifers and calves are separate groups with their own numbers, on one farm. Feed cost flows in from your feed deliveries.

Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.

A Feedsoft subscription is required. Full access for 7 days. No credit card required. When the trial ends the app becomes read-only: your records stay on the device and can still be viewed and exported, but recording new entries needs a subscription. Manage plans at feedsoft.com.
