About this app

Watch your solar power system from your phone or your TV screen, and know at any moment how much the panels are producing, how much is left in the battery, and whether the grid is up or down.

The app connects to your Felicity Solar cloud account and shows your inverter readings live, with instant Telegram alerts that reach you even when the app is closed.


◆ Everything in watts AND amps

• Solar: voltage, current, power, today's yield and lifetime total
• Battery: state of charge, voltage, current, power, charging or discharging
• Grid: voltage, current, frequency, power and connection status
• Load: power, load percentage, output voltage, current and frequency
• Temperature: inverter and device

Every reading shows watts and amps together, not watts alone.


◆ A complete battery card

A circular state-of-charge gauge alongside live voltage, current and power, charge or discharge direction, battery type, charge priority and BMS connection status. When your battery management system reports cell data, the app shows each cell's voltage, the highest and lowest values, and the voltage spread with a clear verdict on cell balance — plus battery temperature, capacity, remaining energy, and estimated time to full or empty.


◆ Instant Telegram alerts

A message reaches you the moment something happens:

• Battery falling to your chosen threshold, plus an emergency alert at the critical level
• Grid power lost and restored
• Load exceeding the percentage you set
• Inverter overheating
• Panels starting in the morning and stopping
• Any sudden change in drawn current

Every threshold is adjustable in the app, and you can schedule a periodic report hourly, every six hours, or daily.


◆ Consumption history that does the maths

• Today's consumption in kWh, derived from production, grid and battery
• Separate accounting for solar and for grid, with each source's share of your consumption
• Peak and average current for solar, grid, load and battery
• Hours of solar production and hours of grid availability
• Today versus yesterday, weekly average, and monthly total

All history is stored on your device and works offline after the first refresh.


◆ Runs in the background

The app keeps monitoring and alerting while closed, resumes automatically after a reboot, and keeps the system status visible in your notification shade.


◆ Two builds: phone and TV

A portrait touch interface for phones, and a landscape interface for televisions that works entirely from the remote, with navigation designed for Android TV.


◆ Privacy

We run no servers and collect nothing. Your credentials, settings and history live on your device alone, and are sent only to the Felicity Solar platform to fetch readings and to Telegram to deliver your own alerts. No ads, no data selling.


◆ What you need

• An active Felicity Solar account (shine.felicitysolar.com)
• An inverter connected to the internet through its data collector
• For alerts: your own Telegram bot (free, created in a minute via BotFather)


Built and tested on a Felicity Solar IVEM5048 inverter, and works with models supported by the Felicity Solar cloud platform.
