About this app
"Adhkar and Prayer Times" is an alarm for remembrances and prayers: Add your own remembrances with audio and text as you prefer. Each remembrance is recited at its designated time, and its text appears on the screen, along with a precise Adhan and Iqamah that are never delayed.
★ Your Own Remembrances: Audio and Text
• Add an unlimited number of remembrances and reminders.
• Each remembrance has a title and text that appears on the screen, and an audio file you choose from your phone: a recitation, a supplication in your voice, or any recording.
• The audio file is copied within the app, so the remembrance continues to play even if you delete or move the original file.
• Want a written remembrance only? Leave it without sound, and only the text will appear.
• Adjustable volume levels for each remembrance, and the option to display it in full screen on top of the lock screen.
★ At Your Own Time
• Set a specific time (e.g., 9:00 AM), or one linked to a prayer: a few minutes before the Adhan or after the Iqamah. For example: Morning remembrances (adhkar) a quarter of an hour after the Fajr prayer, and following the prayer schedule throughout the year.
• Repetition: Once, daily, on specific days (such as Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays), or at regular intervals (such as sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ every hour from 9 AM to 9 PM).
• When a remembrance is due, its audio is recited and its full text appears on the screen, remaining visible for several minutes after it ends.
★ Prayer Priority
• The Adhan (call to prayer) is recited first, followed by the Iqamah (second call to prayer), then reminders before and after prayer, and finally the remembrances.
• If a remembrance coincides with the Adhan, it is recited after the Adhan to avoid overlapping sounds.
★ Adhan and Iqamah
• A complete Adhan in high quality, and a separate Adhan for Fajr. You can choose any voice from your phone.
• An Iqamah alert with an adjustable duration for each prayer.
• A reminder before the Adhan for a duration you choose, and a reminder for post-prayer remembrances with text you type.
• Any sound button pauses the Adhan, with a pause button in the notification. ★ Clear Display
• Gregorian and Hijri dates displayed together, with the option to adjust the Hijri date to align with the new moon sighting in your country. The Hijri day begins at sunset.
• Current time, current and next prayer times, and a countdown timer for the Adhan (call to prayer) or Iqamah (second call to prayer).
• A space displaying the text of each supplication (Dhikr) at its appointed time.
• Daily prayer timetable with Adhan and Iqamah.
★ Accurate Prayer Times Without Internet
• On-device astronomical calculations, calibrated to the Tripoli Mosques Calendar: 96% of prayer times are accurate within one minute.
• Multiple cities are available, or your device's location, along with several calculation methods, both schools of thought for Asr prayer, and the option for daylight saving time or winter time.
★ Protection to Prevent Delays
Some phones delay notifications to conserve battery. The "Protection" section checks for and corrects any issues that might delay the Adhan with a single tap, and adds:
• Preliminary alarms before each Adhan keep the app awake until the moment of the call to prayer.
• “Dawn Guardian” ensures the Fajr Adhan is played on time, even on phones that have notifications disabled at night.
• Test notification and log showing the delay of each notification in seconds.

• Large widget: Date, time, next prayer with Iqamah, daily schedule, and next supplication.
