Fourteen people turned up. Nobody wants to pick last. Open the Smart Team Balancer and the argument is over in four seconds.
The balancer is why this app exists. Add whoever came, and it deals two sides that are level on strength and sensible in shape — a keeper each, the defenders shared out, never five at the back against five up front — then suggests a formation for both. Then it tells you the truth about the split: how far apart the two teams still are, per player, and every compromise it had to make. Only one natural keeper? It names who took the gloves. Odd numbers? It says which side plays a player short. Everyone the same position? It says the shape is a guess. Shuffle for a different, equally fair split.
RUNNING THE GAME
Kick off and keep the match yourself: goals and assists, yellows and reds, substitutions, penalties, saves and the clock, with undo for the ones you tapped too fast. A draw goes to a penalty shootout, taken kick by kick. At full time there is a match report, you rate the players out of ten, and those ratings feed straight back into the next balance — so the teams get fairer the more you play.

THE PROFESSIONAL GAME, TOO
Live scores, league tables, fixtures and results matchday by matchday, the full knockout bracket, lineups and match events, team and player statistics and news, across twelve of the world's biggest cups and leagues.
Signing in is optional and free — your squad, saved matches and follows are kept on your device, so an account is only needed for the members club. A Pro membership removes the ads and opens the members club.
COMPETITIONS COVERED
Seven club competitions arrive with live fixtures, league tables and results: the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League. Five international tournaments are covered too: the FIFA World Cup, the FIFA Women's World Cup, the UEFA European Championship, the AFC Asian Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations. Past seasons are one tap away: wherever earlier editions have been published, a season picker sits with the competition, and choosing one loads that season's fixtures, results and final table, with a tap back to the latest. A tournament that is between editions opens on its most recent completed one — the final results and the final table — and moves to the new edition as soon as its fixtures are published.
