Five things you follow are on tonight, and two of them clash. Sport Orbit opens on that, not on a league table.
Tonight is the first screen: every team, athlete and competition you follow, from every sport you follow, merged into one timeline in your own time zone — in the order things actually start.
TONIGHT, AND THE EVENING AROUND IT
• One timeline — everything you follow across 38 sports and 12 competitions, summer and winter, in a single list
• Clash finder — start and finish times compared across sports, so you are told which two overlap, and by how many minutes
• Build My Sports Night — hand it the evening and it orders your viewing, marks where you join late or leave early, and names what you are giving up
• Why this match matters — an importance score that shows its own arithmetic: knockout round, elimination on the line, both sides followed, rivalry and how many meetings there have been
• Multi-match live — up to four games on one screen, in an order you set
FOR THE ONES YOU MISS
• Spoiler-free mode — every score stays sealed until you choose to reveal it, on cards, alerts and lists alike
• Catch Me Up — what happened, in order, and where it stands now, with no invented drama
• My sports calendar — a month grid of every fixture you follow, exported to your calendar in one tap
• Predictions — call a result and keep the record. Your accuracy rate is shown honestly, misses included. It is a personal record and nothing more.
THE SPORTS UNDERNEATH
Athletics, swimming, cycling, volleyball and the summer Games football tournament; alpine skiing, figure skating, speed skating, biathlon, curling, the NHL and the winter Games ice hockey tournament. Medal tables, podium finishes, leaderboards that keep the whole field and not only the first three, group and league standings, results day by day, a newsroom feed and an archive of past editions.
No account needed — Sport Orbit opens straight into it. Signing in is optional: a free account with Apple, Google or an email address keeps your follows, predictions and spoiler settings on every device you use.
Everything above is free. A Sport Orbit membership removes the ads and opens the rewards club — the daily check-in, streaks and points, and your standing in the Predictor Championship.
Sport Orbit is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, federation, organising committee or governing body. League and competition names are used descriptively, to identify publicly available results; no third-party logos, emblems or other protected marks appear in the app.
HOW AN EVENING USUALLY GOES
You open the app at six. Tonight already knows that the athletics final and the curling draw overlap by forty minutes and that you follow both. Build My Sports Night puts one first, says why, and tells you plainly that you will join the other at the fifth end.
IT WORKS FOR ONE SPORT TOO
Follow only the biathlon if that is all you care about. The timeline, the calendar export, the sealed scores and the recap behave the same for one fixture as for twenty.
