This is an Android TV Twitch client designed to give you full access to all Twitch content plus a variety of features not available on other Twitch apps.


Most notable features:

Multiple modes to watch streams:

4-way Multistream, 2-way Picture in Picture, Side by side chat and video, most modes have multiple options allowing you to change the video, chat size, and position.

- Simple user interface design for TV devices that only have a D-Pad as main remote control
- Fully customizable player experience, with a lot of player controls and statuses such as latency to the broadcaster, low latency, quality/resolution, speed, several chat customization options, network health, skipped frames, direct access to channel content, game content, follow/unfollow button, etc...
- Past broadcast/Highlights (VOD) and clips with chat
- BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, and 7TV emote support
- Custom Unicode Emojis support
- Search for Live streams, Channel or Games
- Notifications, followed streams are now live, changed game, changed title
- Full Twitch user content, followed by Live streamers, games, Past broadcasts/Highlights (VOD), channels, etc.
- User history for Live, VOD and clips
- Multi-user support, add as many different users as you wanna
- Easy way to switch between users, using settings you can enable so the app always starts on the user selection screen
- Small APK (Less than 2MB on average) allowing the installation on devices with very limited storage
- Small Data storage use (average 10MB), with an auto storage self-cleaning tool, no need for the user to worry about data storage use or clearing the cache, the app does it automatic

Phones and tablets aren't fully supported as the project focus is Android TV, because of that you can't install this from Play Store on phones or tablets, but is possible to use the below link to download the APK and install this on any device:

This app has no affiliation with Twitch, this is a user-made app, but is only possible because Twitch provides all the API that allows the app to show Twitch content.

Ratings and reviews

Twitch started acting up on my SmartTV so I found out about this app, and I'm so glad I did! Navigating streams is muuuuch easier than it used to be, I love being able to preview other streams while still watching one, turning the chat on and off with a single down arrow press, and I'm sure there are loads of other features I haven't discovered yet. Thanks a lot for your work.

I switched from S0undTV to this because it stopped updating for a fair while. Obviously better than whatever the official app is. Heres some suggestions: 1, I'd love a UI scale option. 2, add an option to shrink stream when opening the chat window. 3, UI COLOURS!!!!! That's all, I'd appreciate if you listened to the suggestions. Edit: You should shorten the app's name to SmartTwitch or BetterTwitch.

the official Twitch app kept on crashing on my fast and stable Wi-Fi connection when watching a stream. this app is much more stable and has a lot more options and settings. takes a little time to get used to the controls but it is definitely worth it.

The app has a building update check warning when a update is available a small warning will pop up, and a warning will show below main page clock
