It's unnecessarily difficult to join a group. The person who makes the group will send an invite. The invite goes to your email, and then you must figure out how to get to the group page without making a group yourself because there is no notification within the app that highlights an invite until you are in the create a group page. That is when and where you will see the invite notice. If it hadn't been so expensive, I would have returned the lamps.

Although the lamps are very cool and I like connecting to friends with the lamps, the app is very hard to use, confusing, and nothing is where you'd expect it to be. Getting the lamp connected to the app can also be somewhat of a nightmare. One of my friends was on the phone with tech support several times to get hers set up.

I am going to be out of town and away from my lamp so I activated the free trial for remote touch. I have encountered an issue that doesn't make sense. There is no indication in the app that the lamp is lit or what color it currently is. I know the app knows, because the notification indicates it's been tapped and shows the color. If i have these notifications turned off, I would have no idea it's been tapped.
