Finger print recognition not available on OnePlus phones. Halifax don't have a problem with it, neither do - wait for it - Yorkshire Bank, who only phased out abacuses from the banking counter about a month ago. Pretty disappointed. What happened to being revolutionary and front runners?
Much better than a year ago, for sure. However, I really don't want to see my £135,000 mortgage balance / debt that's going to take up the next 26 years of my life every single time I log in. Talk about a downer. Can we get an option to hide this please? I make my monthly payment and that's all I want to concern myself with 😂
Keep getting the same new user tips every time I open the app. It's bloody frustrating. Never remembers my username when I check the box and have to continually accept the terms and conditions everytime I open the app. It's like it doesn't remember my details for some reason.
App does keep improving. However, the partial rollout of finger print support was disappointing, and the "you've been logged out" experience is very frustrating and shows little thought to UX (three taps to log in _every_ time I open the app).
The app has been pretty good for a while. I'm not loving the new fonts or the account overview (which just seems to get in the way of what you want to do) but the addition of the fingerprint scanning is very useful as is being able to pay someone new direct from the app is wonderful. Moving to a new phone was incredibly painful, too, but other than that it's difficult to fault it
Fingerprint Recognition Disappointment. LG G5 owner. So phone is less than 2 years old. Has loads of Fingerprint Recognition apps. Wait for ever for First Direct to get with the program and offer it rather than the laborious task of counting letters only to discover its available on about 3 phones. What a joke.
• Log on and authorise new payments using your fingerprint (selected devices only - more to follow shortly)
