Great app. A bit spendy, but if they keep it updated it might be worth it. I have submitted some photos during my free trial and they've been pretty accurately identified. Only real complaint is with the photo import function. It would be nice to have the option of rotating the box in the app, instead of editing the photo and rotating it. And a side note, juvenile sharks can be super difficult to identify...you might want to include a disclaimer to that effect. Good job on the app!

Now that's an app that works! I'm new to fishing in Florida and love that this app not only identifies the fish, it records the location, tide, time, moon phase, wind and more!

If you have a good picture its pretty good at telling you what it is. But does not give regulations for fish. Im in so cal and it tells me that dolphin fish is unregulated.....it says that about every fish.

Rob, great feedback, important to set to specific location for area your fishing inorder for FV to show specific season and size regs. You raise a great point for anglers as general bag limit for fish like Mahi (Dolphin), unless size and season regulated in Calif fall under the default statewide bag limit of no more than 10 fish of one species.
