The latest update (version 8.1.1) has not fixed any of the crashing that was prevalent in the previous two versions. I had rated this app 2/5 stars (down from 3) on the last version because of the crashing when any attempt is made to select any options on a saved activity. Now that a SECOND update has been released that has not addressed the crashing of the app at all, my rating of RunKeeper is 1/5. I have no confidence at all when using RunKeeper that it will not crash. Currently the app only crashes each and every time any attempt is made to press any options, such as looking at the splits, looking at the charts, assigning a pair of shoes to a run, or even something as simple as sharing the activity just completed. If you are an Android user, I DO NOT recommend installing this app for running, swimming or cycling activities.
My favorite running app by far. My favorite voices are the Boston fan and the announcer. They're funny and motivating. I love that I can add comments about how the run went every time. It's become like a daily reflection journal where I can look back and see how my day was and how much I've improved my run times each week. When I don't have Wi-Fi the app works perfectly. When it goes back and forth between Wi-Fi and no signal at the gym at my school, the gps doesn't work at all. Definitely best for outside with no Wi-Fi around!
Brilliant app to keep track of your run, swimming, walks and much more! And tells your how many calories you've burnt off
I love the coaching voices every so often. Cracks me up during my run. Easy to use!
Great tool to help me keep my workouts in perspective.
Great app, do the job
