About this app

Just Run is a simple workout app to help you get running. I made this app to get myself off the couch and start running to get to 5K. Stick to the workout plan, and you'll be able to run 5K in 9 weeks. It really does work!

If you're already able to run 5K, Just Run also has a 6-week plan to help you get up to 10K!

Workout Plans
- Zero to 5K: Gets you from absolute zero running experience to 5K in just 9 weeks, with three 30-minute workouts per week
- 5K to 10K: If you can already run 5K, or have finished Zero to 5K, this plan gets you to 10K in only 6 weeks

Features
📅 Target dates for each workout, calculated based on your progress, and optimal exercise days
📣 Choose from multiple trainer voices, which tell you exactly when to run and walk
📱 Lock screen notification so you don't need to unlock your phone to check your progress
🚫 No ads! Ads are no fun, so Just Run has no ads!
🎵 Works with music, audiobook and podcast apps - Just Run will briefly lower the volume of the other app when prompting you to run and walk, so you'll never miss a prompt
🔽 Tiny download (less than 5MB), so Just Run will take up very little space on your device
➕ Upgrade to Premium to get more trainer voices, multiple theme options, access to feature previews, and to support continued development of Just Run

I'd love to hear how you're getting on with Just Run. You can email me at run@jupli.com.

It's a really simple app, and that's exactly what I'm looking for! If you want an app that tracks splits, has maps, has detailed breakdowns, etc. there are other apps that already do that. But if you want an app that helps you set a simple running plan, does it without bloated features, and does it without bugs, this is the app for you. I'm pretty cheap and rarely pay for apps, but I happily paid for this one.

Just finished the program. This app is honestly one of the best ways to get into running! It builds you up at just the right pace to prepare you for the next week. (Trust me, I ran week 4 and 5 during a heatwave 😭) My biggest piece of advice starting out is to run SLOW!! Like, embarrassingly slow. Barely faster, if even, than walking. Overall, great app, would use again.

I was looking for a simple running app to help me get back into shape and work toward running a 5K in under 30 minutes. I also wanted something that was completely ad-free. This app is free - I purchased the extra features, mainly to support the developer and help keep the app free of ads. The app delivers exactly what it promises. It gradually guides you back into running at a comfortable pace.If you're interested in statistics e.g. heart rate, consider using a sports watch alongside the app.

What’s new

This update changes how the phone and Wear OS timers sync when using the Wear OS Feature Preview. This fixes a number of desync issues when the phone and watch are apart. Make sure to update both the phone and Wear OS apps before your next workout to ensure the fixes take effect.
