I watched the ads, and it was free. the light goes on and off like it should when you shake it. however, even on the lowest sensitivity, it often turns on when unwanted. (I have a Pixel 10, in case the problem is the phones sensitivity) Just having the phone on the dash as a GPS, even little bumps can set it off. It would be nice if they could turn the sensitivity way down, so it has to be two very deliberate shakes. I might have to wait until then before I continue to use this.

I gave it 3 out of 5 because the button to watch ads to make it ad-free, doesn't work. It also doesn't remain functioning all the time. Every now and then, you gotta open the app to get the shake function to work again. Probably because you can't watch the ads to make it ad-free. Aside from that, it's a decent, to the point, shakeable flashlight app.

Just downloaded and spent the 5-10 min watching the ads so that the app was ad free without subscription price which is great! One thing I don't like is that it only works if your screen is UNLOCKED but there's NO WAY I'm paying $15/wk for the one that doesn't so ig I'll learn to deal with it! It also doesn't tell you how long you receive the ad free version for free for free by watching ads, if it's a lifetime, 6 months, 1 yr etc. which I feel is sketch but once Ik I will update review/stars
