READ THE CONVENTION
Articles I to XVI, all 22 Regulations across the five Titles, every Part A Standard and Part B Guideline, and the Appendices including the Maritime Labour Certificate and DMLC forms and the 16 areas of Appendix A5-I. Mandatory Standards and non-mandatory Guidelines are clearly marked. Regulations touched by the 2025 amendments carry a notice, and the amendments themselves are listed in full with their in-force date of 23 December 2027.

UK IMPLEMENTATION
All 35 Merchant Shipping Notices, Marine Guidance Notes and Marine Information Notices listed in MGN 470, with full text, grouped by Title and linked to the Regulation each one gives effect to. 114 questions in four levels (cadet and rating, Officer of the Watch, Chief Mate, Master) plus 12 shipboard scenarios, written from 649 MCA orals reports so the emphasis matches what examiners actually ask: hours of rest, the five Titles, the SEA, the Maritime Labour Certificate and DMLC, complaints procedures and crew agreements. Every answer follows the three-part shape examiners listen for: the requirement, what it looks like on board, and the evidence it is working. Practise in shuffled sessions, reveal the model answer and mark yourself.

SELF-TEST
441 multiple choice questions covering the foundations and all five Titles, at basic, intermediate and advanced level. Every answer explains why and cites the Standard, Guideline, M Notice or Regulation. Test yourself on the whole Convention, a Title, a single Regulation or the 2025 amendments.
