Shortlist: Rank Movies & TV

BLRB Digital

About this app

Stop rating movies. Start ranking them.

Build a personal ranked list of the movies and TV shows you've watched. Follow friends, compare your taste and find ideas for what to watch next.

HOW IT WORKS
Add a title you've watched, then choose your favorite in head-to-head matchups. Your choices place it in your ranking. Movies and TV shows have separate ranked lists, so you can keep track of both without assigning star ratings.

BUILD YOUR RANKED LIST
Shortlist uses pairwise choices to build an ordered list. Pick between two titles and see where each one lands. Share your rankings with friends and keep adding films and series as you watch them.

TRACK FILMS AND SERIES
Save titles to your watchlist, mark what you're currently watching and add notes. Keep the films you want to see and the series you mean to start in one place. Notes can appear in activity feeds.

WHAT TO WATCH TONIGHT
Browse movies and shows using streaming-service filters. Check Where to Watch for provider information, and explore recommendations alongside your friends' rankings. Availability varies by title and region; streaming services may require a separate subscription or payment.

FOLLOW YOUR FRIENDS
See rankings, reviews and watchlist activity from people you follow. Explore community activity and recommendations in the feed.

SCORES IN CONTEXT
Where enough ranking data is available, see predicted, friend and community scores. Predicted scores use your rankings and, when available, an external rating. Friend scores reflect people you follow; community scores draw on eligible community rankings.

COMPARE YOUR TASTE
Unlock taste matching as you rank more titles. Compare your rankings with a friend's and explore the titles you have in common.

MAKE LISTS TOGETHER
Create collaborative lists with friends or family, add titles and rank the list. Put together date-night picks, watch-party ideas or a collection of favorites.

KEEP RANKING
Earn achievements and build ranking streaks. Your taste profile unlocks as you add more rankings.

REVIEWS AND NOTES
Write reviews and notes, and mark them as containing spoilers to warn other readers.

What’s new

More privacy and more control. In the UK, EU and Switzerland, Shortlist now asks before turning on analytics, and your email and birthday are kept where only you can see them. You can report a comment, a collection or a live chat message. Press and hold a title on My List, your profile or a collection for quick actions. Find friends from your contacts during setup, add an optional landing sound, and enjoy live events and reranking that move like the iPhone app.
