Works on both my Android devices. (K1 tab & moto Z with micro to C adapter.) Didn't work until I turned on the flir "before" initiating the app. Wish it had more sensitivity settings. But this price, compared to better quality cameras, works well for the money. Want better? Spend more.
With all the android updates. I'm running on a 5s. I thought I lost a good camera. Tried the other app that says free version it's a 1 min run. Then restarts. This app seems like it doesn't recognize the camera is connect. Wait for it. I'd say with in 5 minutes. It should start working with no glitches. At least Mine does anyways
There are a lot of negative reviews, but for me it works perfectly. There is only a small processing delay, but you even have that with your normal phone camera so that's not even a negative point. The app even automatically starts when you connect the device. Tested on a Honor 6 and a Galaxy TabS2.
This doesn't work with the app. I used a third party app and got it too work for 1min and then the app crashed. The FLIR one support staff are not knowledgeable enough. They suggest a new hardware when I said it worked with a third party app.
Rather disappointed in app as well as hardware... App doesn't hold any setting so every time I open it I have to re-set everything. Also often when I try to disable auto calibrate it still constantly adjusts the levels, washing out the picture. It lags and stalls often too and occasionally I have to disconnect and reconnect unit to recognize . at least with the last update it seems to be a little more accurate but still seems almost like I can just put a simulated ir app and it will do similar pics.
Galaxy S4 is supposed to be supported as per the maker's website. App crashes as soon as you start it.
