Underwhelming Innovation Flir's been making quality products for average consumers for a long time. So, surprising to see a clunky UI lacking features and capabilities. Using Flir One Pro, evaluating, borrowing from a friend. App, pretty bare bones and unpleasant UX. The whole app feels pretty close to minimum viable product, and doesn't appear to have, and probably hasn't changed much since product launch ~2014. Flir: just open your API for a better community run replacement app. This sucks.

Edit- works much better since this post. Batt of the device is the problem ive noticed. Love the usage of this camera which the product itself will be getting 5 stars but the app needs some work. It hasn't crashed or acted strange. It is just incredibly slow/ laggy. Now I'm not sure if it's my setup with the Flir One Pro or the app itself. (Note 4 with USB-C adapter) but viewing the pictures when not using the actual camera seems to show its slowness which leads me to believe it's the app.

Teledyne/ FLIR has broken app: many of the options previously available have been removed to make the FLIR One and FLIR One Pro less useful or unusable. there is no longer an option to disable automatic calibration, so your images are guaranteed to get burned in after a few seconds, video recording is no longer possible and manual temperature offset is similarly impossible. if your device gets out of calibration, it is impossible to correct.
