💡 WHY FOCUSLOCK?

• Accessibility Service: This app uses Android's Accessibility Service to power the following optional focus features. Each feature is off by default and is enabled only when the user explicitly turns it on in Settings:
- Device Shutdown Prevention: Detects the system power-off dialog during an active focus lock session and dismisses it, preventing the user from bypassing the lock by powering off the device.
- Notification Shade Block: Detects the notification shade window during an active focus lock session and dismisses it to keep the user focused.
- Website Blocking: Reads the URL displayed in the address bar of supported browsers during an active focus lock session to block websites the user has chosen to block.
- Short-Form Content Block (YouTube Shorts / Instagram Reels): Inspects the on-screen window content during an active focus lock session to detect Shorts/Reels viewers and block them, while other parts of those apps remain usable.

The Accessibility Service runs only during active focus lock sessions and only to detect the specific scenarios above. No personal data, screen content, or browsing history is collected, stored, or transmitted off the device.

Ratings and reviews

The app is really good and has helped me stay focused. A few improvements would make it even better. Please add weekly/monthly graphs showing how many days and hours I've stayed locked—it would be much more motivating. The UI also needs improvement. Even apps in the allowed list are difficult to open; they often close automatically and only open after several attempts. Also, if WhatsApp and Google Drive are both allowed, opening a PDF shared from WhatsApp in Google Drive doesn't work

Hi dude, I really enjoyed your app — great UI, super simple to use. But there's one bug that really annoyed me: If you turn off the phone, the app reopens and shows the previous timer, which is fine. But if you go into the app again before it has reopened on its own, and set a new timer (e.g. 1 minute), the previous timer gets forgotten — and after that 1 minute, the phone just turns back on, ignoring the old timer. Please fix this — it's really important to me. Thanks

Hi dear developer, Thank you, after Allah, for creating this game-changing app. It is 98% perfect! However, I noticed a few things today that could be improved: Notifications: When I turn off the app’s notifications, the app automatically stops working, allowing me to use my phone. Please make the app continue working even when notifications are disabled. App switching: When I open an app and immediately return to the main app, it temporarily stops working for a few seconds before continuing.
