Ratings and reviews

App stalls and hangs too often. Only one person can talk at a time. The other side will not receive my responses unless I wait about 1 second until he/she has completely stopped talking. It is quite annoying trying to have a fluent conversation like this. Skype is much better, by a very long shot, but does not offer a phone number in Canada. Good service, bad quality. Thanks anyway.

I installed Fongo specifically to receive a Telegram verification code. Initially, I received a text saying a code had arrived but that I needed a subscription to view it. Based on that "teaser," I purchased the "Canada Unlimited Texting" add-on. After paying, I tried again multiple times, but no messages arrived at all. Thinking the code might be coming from an international number, I also bought the "Unlimited Global Texting" add-on. Still nothing. Support eventually told me that some short co

I’ve used this service for years, but it’s gone downhill. Even after paying for ad removal, credits, and global texting, a basic feature like blocking non-contacts is now only available through Fongo Plus. Locking such a fundamental feature behind another paywall is extremely disappointing. At this point, it’s hard to see why anyone would choose this over a real provider. hopeless.
