So my honda generator was being a jerk...I knew it was the automatic idle. Too high and it would surge, too low and it would stall. Had to find that 3500rpm sweet spot, but how? I'm not a mechanic so don't have the tools, maybe I can download something. So I downloaded this app, and no $h¡t my generator is running better than it has been for a year! Great app!!! I can only say sorry you can't figure it out, to the people who can't figure it out

App doesn't work. No sound rpm shows above 1k and bounces. Testing with my voice and various pitches it does read different rpm though it couldn't be trusted. Tested on my snow blower which I know is running high registered very low 2.5k rpm and sometimes bounced to various rpm. With phone right by muffler, registered nothing. App can't be trusted for anything accurate.

absolutely no idea idea how to use the app. it let's you set the type of motor but then does absolutely nothing- no options controls or anything. there is an rpm meter that moved from 1k to 5k but is not responsive to throttle at all. I was testing with a loud motorcycle and paid for the app. don't waste your time. Yes chaned settings to 1 cyl 4 stroke. RPM went from 1k to 5k.
