Promises much delivers nothing.
Not a fan. Bought the dongle for my OBD2 simply to program a new battery and read and clear some CEL codes from the system during routine maintenance on my R56. Seems each of those costs extra money on top of the money you already paid for the dongle and the app. Decided to cut my losses and purchased an actual scan tool from ECS that should do everything this app claims to do and more without being nickeled and dimed the entire time.
I purchased both the app and the bluetooth ODBC adapter for the sole purpose of changing my DRL's (Daytime Running Lights) to my Angel Eye's. I was hopeful that I would be able to use the app for many other custom mods as well. However, despite having a stable connection and the app being able to detect and "read" 5 ECU's, I have been unable to code ANY changes to my car. The very worst part is the "support" offered after the sale. The app suggested sending in logs for troubleshooting. After emailing these via the app, the email response I got back from the support tech was "And your question is?" Despite this rude response from them, I emailed a detailed account of my car's details as well as the function I was trying to perform. No response. I have emailed them back with more logs and still no response. They clearly don't care about their customers.
Even though my bluetooth adapter was compatible with the app and connection was stable and was able to do coding back up for several modules, still this app will not allow me to code unless I purchase the "CARLY ADAPTER" what a joke of a company!
Just one simple getting new battery registration stuff takes me forever with making connection, and keeps showing "no engine identified" wth. $59 for this ? No thnks I'm thinking refund this.
