ACCOUNT SETUP

Freedom Mortgage offers you the option to make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments through our mobile app. Simply download the app and login to your account or create a new account if you haven’t already set up your online access. Then, select One Time Payment from Account Details.

On your first visit, you can set up your banking information. For subsequent payments, you can simply select that account for payment. Payments will be credited as of the date received although payments made on a Saturday, Sunday, holiday, or after business hours may not post to your account until the next business day.

APP SUPPORT
Our Mobile app supports the following versions on the Android devices:
• Android – 8.0+ (Google no longer supports Android 7.0 due to security concerns)

not a fan of the app update. the layout used to be simple and easy to navigate. now it's overly complicated with lots of tabs and data. I just want to make payments, and even that isn't straight forward anymore as they automatically apply a "future payment" to my one time payment and it's unclear whether that's my automatic payment or additional dollars. very confusing.

I absolutely despise ads and unwanted junk shoved in my face. So, if you must have ads, make 'em accessable, but not the primary in-app information! To access my account, how can I get your verification number when it's sent to email, and I'm already in email? When getting the new email for the verification number, the 1st email waiting for the #, has vanished! Androids may display differently than PCs, but my account is completely inaccessible! 😡 ** Please sent verification #s by TEXT!!

This app is amateurish at best. It's riddled with interface glitches, e.g. inability to backspace when typing an OTP, interface elements disappear behind keyboard while you are typing in them. There are also strange functionality limitations- you can schedule recurring autopay but the date of the first payment has to be between 5 and 20 days from now, so if you wanted it to happen on the 1st of each month, try again in two weeks, sucker! It just feels like a bare minimum effort.
