Accuracy depends on the quality of GPS hardware in your device as well as outside weather conditions. Be aware that GPS does not work well indoors, so try to use it outside most of the time.

Ratings and reviews

Wanted to use this app for work. I engineer utilities out in the field and have to record lat and long for each of my facilities. This could be in the hundreds. After spending an entire day mapping, I get back to the office, and none of the coordinates are accurate. Miles off. Whole days worth of work lost. It seems to work ok if you have data or wifi. I'm assuming it's inaccuracy, while out in the field, is due to it not being able to connect to the internet, and show you ads. Uninstalling.

The app is simple and provides the key information quickly and in a clean format. The one big problem is the compass does not work. It freezes within seconds of opening it. So if you need a compass, look elsewhere. Otherwise, it's a great app.

DO NOT GET THIS APP. YOUR DATA IS NOT SAFE! You will lose all your data if you get a new phone or lose your phone. They say it can be saved, but it can't. AND THEN THERE ARE THE ADs! Ads! Ads every 10 seconds. Ads over your data. Also, in the map function, you can't move the map away from a chosen point. It will always recenter itself. It's maddening. In response to the developers' reply to my review. The export function does not work, and I understand using ads for revenue, but not like this!
